Scholarship Programme
The mission of the Bermuda Hospitals Board is to ensure the highest quality healthcare through service, education and leadership. It gives us great pleasure, therefore, to support Bermudians who are seeking a career in the exciting and diverse field of healthcare through the BHB Scholarship Programme.
We accept applications between March 1st and April 30th each year for our scholarships, which are worth BD$10,000 per annum for a maximum period of four (4) years.
In addition GlaxoSmithKline will award $15,000 to an outstanding student.

To apply for one of our scholarships, you must be a Bermudian who has completed two years of college or university education and intend to work in the healthcare industry. You must also be attending an accredited educational institution approved by a relevant licensing council and have maintained at least a 3.0 grade-point average or equivalent.
As our young healthcare professionals are so important to the long term success and stability of healthcare services in Bermuda, we expect all successful scholarship applicants to work for Bermuda Hospitals Board two (2) years for each year the scholarship is awarded.
We wish you well in the application process and also great success in your studies. As a future healthcare professional we look forward to welcoming you into a BHB team striving to become the first choice for health and wellness, and provide a service for which Bermuda can be proud.
