What does a Director of Volunteer Services do?

A Director of Volunteer Services is responsible for the planning, organizing, and directing the selection, training, and utilization of volunteer hospital workers. Ensures symbiotic relationships between the hospitals and the community and between hospital employees and volunteers at KEMH or MWI.

What qualifications and experience does the hospital require?

• Bachelors’ degree in a field appropriate to the position.
• Five years experience in a health care environment.
• Must have level of computer skills required to create a volunteer database and public relations tools to attract volunteers.
