A Clinical Dietitian serves as the nutritional consultant to the assigned health care teams, clinical units and programs. Under the general direction of the Professional Practice Leader the Clinical Dietitian initiates the nutritional care process according to established clinical guidelines, standards of practice and P&P’s for Clinical Dietitian Services. The Clinical Dietitian works in close collaboration with the PPL, the Program Manager and the Clinical Coordinator/Team Leaders to provide ethical nutritional care service in an effective and efficient manner. As a member of the Clinical Dietitian Service Team, the Clinical Dietitian consistency reviews services provided and works with the health care team and the dietetic team to continue to improve services and patient outcome.
